The main aims of N&S CVS are to promote, support and develop voluntary action throughout the Newark & Sherwood District and to develop and support partnerships between the voluntary, community, statutory and private sectors. It does this through the work of the CVS Manager, District Partnership Officer, Funding Officer, Information Officer and administration staff. The CVS also operates a Volunteer Bureau and a Voluntary Transport Scheme, both run by Co-ordinators.
